For all of you hungry for information I am sorry to say there is little to report right now. I spoke with Mom about an hour ago and she said Kerrie is much the same.. chomping on ice and waiting for her to go to work every day.. in the hopes the nurses will let her have more ice than we will. My fear is that they WILL give her all the ice she asks for, but I am pretty sure they all know she has to have a limit set.
Physical Therapy started up again, yesterday, and they had Kerrie sitting on the edge of her bed for a full 15 minutes. I wonder how many times she demanded ice while she was sitting there 🙂
As of yesterday the Echo- Cardiogram had not been done on Kerrie’s heart yet, but we are hoping it was done today. Mom was going to find out as soon as she made it back to Kerrie’s room. We don’t want to wait on this, because the fluid around her heart, could be the sign of a serious problem… so we want it caught early if it is. This was supposed to be done already, but hasn’t been.
Mom said she would ask about it again and try to make sure it’s done by tomorrow. It really would be in their best interest to get this done before I get there on Friday afternoon.. otherwise, they will have to deal with my ranting and raving about it and we KNOW they don’t want that 🙂
My meetings ended a little early today, so I took the opportunity to drive home and pick up a few things I had forgotten when I left for Cedar Point. This also allowed me access to a computer, so I could give a brief update. I’m on my way back to CP now, and am hoping to get on the road before this next snow storm hits… I will not have computer access again before Saturday, so be sure to check the gallery for updates. If Mom is not able to post something in the gallery I will call one of our wonderful aunts and ask them to give everyone any new info.
Stay warm.. and for those of you who live in the Cleveland snow-belt area… get those shovels ready. The weather channel has made it look like this is going to be a good one!

Jenn – You GO Woman! I hope someone has warned the Med Team that the Tall Blonde with Major Attitude is returning! Otherwise, they are going to be totally dazed by the BLONDE FURY!!! I’d really love to be a fly on the wall when you get going… that buzz in your ear would be me whispering encouragememt! Kerrie can’t help herself. She needs fanatic advocates! (Anyone who has ever had a close loved one in Kerrie’s position knows how critical that is). Her nearest and dearest (You, Joan, Steve, Ron, et al) tag teaming it is her best chance! You GO!!! Love you!
