A TIME FOR PRAYER

Hello Kast Family,

I have some very sad news to share with all of you. Our good friend Teena Taylor is in need of your strongest prayers. I received a call from Jennifer tonight. She and Fuat had been trying to reach Teena all afternoon and went by her house to visit her. When she didn’t come to the door they thought she was sleeping or perhaps out with a friend. After trying to reach her again and going back to her house they called the police. She was found in her apartment barely concious and was rushed to the hospital. They think she has had a bleed in her brain. They don’t know yet if it was a stroke or an aneurysm  or something else. She is having CT Scan as i am writing this. They may have to do surgery soon to stop any more injuryto the brain. Her daughter, Becky, is on her way from Ohio.

Teena has been such a support for us, all through Kerrie’s illness and always at Jenn’s side, at work and in her personal life. Such a loyal and giving person. She has been my adopted daughter as she lost her mother to leukemia shortly before Ker was diagnosed. She called me Mom and I loved it……….

Jenn and Fuat are staying at the hospital to be with her thru this. Jenn asked me to be sure to let you all know. Please send your positive energy to Teena. I keep my thoughts on the strides medicine has made to combat emergencies like this. But, it is serious and she is in need of all you can send to her.

So once again, Kast Family, we have a loved one to support and love.

Take care all, and I will keep you informed.

Love you

Joan
