HAPPY HOLIDAYS
Happy Holidays everyone!Â
I’ve been meaning to post on here for weeks, but it’s been very hectic and finding time for the computer is not easy. I am sure everyone knows how that is!!
So much has gone on in the past few weeks, so to try to catch up would take a long time… the most important information would be to let you all know that I had my second follow up visit with the doctor and everything looks great!
Blood work was fine, the CA125 ( cancer antogen) number went down 1.5 points… that’s GREAT NEWS.. since it has been slowly going up while I was still getting chemo. Even though it was still under normal levels, I was still concerned that it was going up again… but we got the good news that this time it went down. God Willing it will continue to go down, or at least stay within the normal range.
The doctor is pleased with how everything looks, so he has let me know that we can make an appointment to have the port removed from my chest any time! He doesn’t feel I will need it again ( Keep praying on that one), so I am going to try to schedule it for right after the first of the year.  I am tired of looking like I have an alien implant on the left side of my chest, so I will be happy to get rid of it.
Fuat and I had wonderful Christmas with Mom, Ron and the Andree Family. Had planned to go to Vegas to see dad, for New Year’s, but that didn’t work out. Hoping to make it out there in the next few weeks.
We hope everyone had a great holiday and that you will have a safe and happy new year.
One of my resolutions is to post more often on here.. no matter how busy we get 🙂
Love to all of you and Happy New Year
