The Butterfly

Well.. I leave it to Mom to put an update on the blog and she leaves out the most important part of our whole story :)  I guess if I want something done right I will have to do it myself.. but I will let her load the dishwasher, do the laundry and run the vacuum cleaner ( Mom, I will be more than happy to show you where these are)… now the important part of the story.

On the day we went to the oncologist it was beautiful and sunny…. not the kind of day you want to be doing something like visiting an oncologist.  I got out of the car, and was waiting for Mom and Fuat to join me on the sidewalk … and as I was standing there a little, yellow butterfly buzzed right by my face. It was so close that I thought it was going to land on my nose. It flitted around my head for a minute and then flew away…

That gave me all the confidence I needed to walk into that Doctor’s office.

 For anyone who is new to the KAST page, and doesn’t understand the significance of that butterfly, let me assure you… It’s a beautiful thing. For those of you who have been on KAST since we first started it for my beautiful sister, Kerrie, you know how important that little, yellow buttefly is….

 I am sure she was telling me everything would be alright.
