Pictures from a stranger

Last winter, I received a small packet of pictures from my old Manager at Cedar Point. She didn’t know where they came from, but she wanted me to have them. It seems one day, when they were all at lunch, someone visited the Park Operations office and left a small photo album on the counter. No name, no note.. just the photo album sitting there when they all came back to the office.  This, in itself is a little strange, since you can’t just drive into Cedar Point when it’s closed. You have to go through security, and get approval to enter, so not sure how this person even got into the park..

In the photo album were pictures from a few of the summers Kerrie and I worked at Cedar Point. Peggy, our Manager, mailed them to me…  I’ve had them since last March, sitting on my desk where I can see them, and was finally able to get them scanned into my computer. I’ve put them in the gallery for everyone to see.

Thank you Peggy, for sending them to me, and thank you to whoever it was that left that photo album on the counter that day. I doubt you will ever get my “thank you”, but the pictures mean more to me than you could ever realize.

You know the more I think about this, the pictures HAD to have been from someone on the train crew! I don’t know why I didn’t think of this before.. but so many of the pics have other “train girls” in them and one of the picture was taken from INSIDE the train station.. so it was either a member of the train crew or one of the Area Supervisors that year. Hmm.. I am sure I can get a listing of the crew that year and try to track them down ( no pun intended 🙂 to see who the pictures belonged to.
