I wish I had some news to give you…
I haven’t spoken to Mom or Kerrie since Monday evening!! I’m sure nothing is wrong, or I would have heard from them, but don’t they know we all wait, patiently, for information every day 🙂
My dear mother knows that by the time I have a free minute to pick up the phone and make a call that it’s usually well after 10:00pm. She and Kerrie just lounge around all day, watching movies and eating bon-bons.. I’m sure one of them could call and leave me an update on voicemail if I don’t answer. Geez ladies…
Seriously though, I know it’s probably been hectic for them or I would have heard from them. Not able to call Mom tonight, because she’s at work.. so Mom, if you happen to have a slow night and get on the web page, please leave us a brief update in the gallery.
If it means I have to cancel meetings tomorrow I WILL find at least 5 minutes to call my dear mother and beautiful sister.. and maybe my Dad and brother too ( Shouldn’t leave them out 🙂 .. maybe they have some information that I don’t!)
I leave for Michigan tomorrow night so, at the very least, I will be able to post some info when I get there. Provided the roads aren’t horrible. We are having a bit of an ice storm right now. Almost 80 degrees yesterday… freezing ice, snow and rain today.. and highs in the 20’s. If I didn’t know better I would think I was in Michigan…

Geez Jenn,
You know that today wasn’t our lounge around, eat bon bons day, that’s tomorrow!
Ahhhhh, Thursday, the one day of the week we don’t have to go anywhere, the one
day of the week with no appointments, the one day of the week we can do whatever
we want, whenever we want to do it……..after the morning meds, the tube feeding,
the breakfast, bath time, laundry time, exercise time, etc. is done.
All is well in our neck of the woods. Therapy was short but went well today. Kerrie had
her choice of breakfasts and chose scrambled eggs….I couldn’t believe it, she hasn’t
had any since her Bariatric surgery. How does it taste Kerrie? “It’s fabulous!” she replies.
I’d make her scramble eggs 20 times a day if she was that happy with them all the time.
Jenn, you can go to therapy with Ker on Friday and then send a first hand account. We’re
looking forward to seeing you tomorrow nite.
