Thursday, February 8th

Sounds like Kerrie had a pretty active day today.. Mom says she’s more alert, now that some of the pain meds have worn off, and that she did a decent job with her PT.
Not sure why they were playing musical chairs with her bed, but they changed her bed to a different one, it was too short.. so, changed it again. Mom and Kerrie’s nurse had just finished getting her into the new bed when I talked to them tonight.

Kerrie was too busy, watching Grey’s Anatomy, to talk to me for too long ..but she sounded better than I have heard her sounds in days.

Today was Day 3.. Things sound like they went well, so we will have to wait to see what they decide.
I’m headed there tomorrow night and, for now, I’ve been told to come to NOMC. If anything changes tommorrow Mom will let me know.
I hope she calls me early enough.. I would hate to walk into the room, at 10:00pm, and find Kerrie’s not there 🙂
