Later January 28

Hi Everyone,

Well, Kerrie was delighted to see her cousins, but still slept a lot. Paul, Chris and I had a good visit. They had plenty of interesting stories to tell, as usual and I really enjoyed seeing them, even if Kerrie missed most of it. And by the way guys, she does remember what you were telling her, she even remembered about about your gas problem Chris (sorry if I’m getting personal).

Of course she woke up after they left, had her usual dinner of three bites of apple sauce and a slurp of soup and that was it…. still having a problem with the tube feeding keeping her on the bedpan, but the doctor ordered something for her tonite so hopefully she’ll get some rest. She was sleeping when I left and I called her nurse a few minutes ago and she said she is doing fine.

I had to come home because I have to be here in the am…. seems like my furnace has a health problem as well and is being replaced tomorrow……thankfully the repairman that came yesterday had a spare temporary part or else I would be pretty chilly by now…

 Not sure about when she’ll be ready for rehab…. a lot depends on labs and how she responds to this new med, etc….. but the sooner the better for her and us!
