Teena… January 13th.

Lots of good news today. Teena was awake, alert and watching people as they walked around the room.. and the doctors have taken out the breathing tube.

They’ve been trying to get her to move her hands, arms, and legs but her response time has been a little slow. She can nod her head yes, but has had difficulty shaking her head no… but… when Fuat leaned over and said “GO BLUE” she had no problem showing him her middle finger 🙂 GO TEENA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 I just got off the phone with Fuat and he is sitting with her while Becky and Tommy go get something to eat. He told her she looked good and he thinks she said, “I’m glad you think so.” He’s not sure, because it’s difficult to understand her but at least she’s talking.

That’s the good news so far! Hopefully will post more good news later.
