Saturday, October 7th

I’m currently sitting in the Deli, at Henry Ford, enjoying a Caramel Macchiato and a cup of Potato Soup.. while my beautiful sister is downstairs undergoing her MRI. 

Mom stayed home to get a few things done, go to the grocery store, etc. I’m glad I was here to give her a little time off and allow her to get a few things done. I may not be able to do much for either one of them right now, but at least there are a few little things I can do.

Kerrie was a little scared about the MRI, but I’ve been through these a lot, and was able to tell her there was nothing too it.. other than the noise. Unfortunately, her headache has been severe today and it’s been difficult for her to sit up, or lift her head. Hopefully the jackhammer/pounding noise won’t be too much for her and the earplugs they give her will work well.

We are determined to make tomorrow a great day and have even gotten “clearance” from Dr. Jana to allow Kerrie to have one of her favorite meals.. Pizza Hut Thin Crust, light sauce, meatlovers with mushrooms 🙂

I should probably get back downstairs, so I am near Kerrie. I gave them my cell phone number, in case there were any problems, but I am uncomfortable being this far away from her.

    Jenn, again…thanks for thinking of us and keeping everyone updated. I’m so happy that there is finally a little good news coming your way. Please let me know Kerrie’s # and address as soon as you have a free moment. Are thoughts remain with kerrie and with you, love Sandra

    My very feable excuse for not writing in a while is my pc took a very hard hit a couple of weeks ago. We’re now back online and quickly wanted you to know that you’re still in our prayers each day.
