Today was a decent day for Kerrie. She didn’t have to make any trips to the hospital and we got to spend the day relaxing and enjoying ourselves.

Kerrie’s a big Nascar fan and we had planned to go see Talladaga Nights right before she was admitted into the hospital, in August, but they ended up admitting her 3 days before it came out in theaters.. so we never got to go.  After the Home Health Care Nurse came by, to make sure we knew what we were doing with changing Kerrie’s dressing, we piled in the car and went to the movies.  Mom and I aren’t Nascar fans, but we still found it funny. It was a cute movie and Kerrie really enjoyed it.. and the popcorn.  We picked an early show, so there wouldn’t be a lot of people there and, as it turns out, we were the only people in the theater so she didn’t even have to put on her mask.

She’s still having some problems with severe headaches, caused by the Spinal Tap, so by the end of the day she was wiped out and her head was throbbing… but it was still a nice day, and nice to act a little “normal” for a while.

Tomorrow is the MRI, and then another relaxing day on Sunday.. and then it’s time to check back in to Henry Ford and get this show on the road!!!!
