Yesterday and today have been better days. Although the doctors say the chemo is still in her system, and there may be more bad days ahead, we are hoping the worst is behind her and she won’t have any more days like Sunday.

Her blood counts keep dropping, which is what we want right now, but they should start coming back up soon. Unfortunately, her rash is coming back and is causing lots of discomfort. The doctors had The ID Deparmtment ( Infectious Disease Department) come look at at it today and they are suggesting the dermotology department do another biopsy, as she seems to have a different type of rash than what they biopsied before..Dermotology took a look at her and thinks this new outbreak is actually a kind of bruising being caused by her low platlettes, but they will probably do the biopsy anyway… so that will be what she has to look forward to tomorrow. Yippee!

She had enough energy to get out of her room and do her “Hall Laps” 4 times today, so things are looking good. She still isn’t getting on the internet much but she has read your messages ( or had me read them to her) and she wants to say “Hello” and that she misses everyone.

I can’t wait until they day she can actually leave her room, the floor and the hospital! Let’s just hope that happens while the weather is still nice and she can enjoy it!
