We’ve had some good days for a while, but it looks like the bad days may be here.

Kerrie has been finished with her chemo treatment for the last 4 days, and she’s feeling pretty cruddy. Spiking fevers, chills, hot flashes, dizziness and the return of that itchy rash filled most of her day today. We’re hoping this is the worst of it, and she will begin to feel better after this, but she could have a few more days of being sick before we see any improvement.

She had a big suprise yesterday when Michelle Burgette and Mark Hanlon, two old friends who worked with her at Cedar Point, walked through her door and their visit made for a nice afternoon, but for the most part she hasn’t felt up to having any visitors.

I knew they were coming, and was a little worried because she had not been having a good morning, but they really improved her spirits! Thanks to both of you for making such a long drive here to see her.

Thank you to everyone who has called before they came to visit and been told she didnt feel up to it. She feels bad when she tells someone she doesn’t feel like visitors at the moment, and it has been nice for her to know you are understanding about this.

Hopefully, we’ll have some good news in a few days. Now that she’s almost a week out of chemo we should see her blood cell counts begin to come back up in soon and get an idea of whether or not she is in remission.

Keep your fingers crossed and your prayers coming!

    Jenn,

Me and several other people would like to call Kerrie or send her cards in the mail but we have no ideas what hospital she is in. Is there a way you can give me the address to the hospital and her ext so me and several of our classmates can get a hold of her?
    Thanks

    Sandy,
call me at home, leave your email address and I will send the address, etc. to you. Any one else who needs this information, please do the same. We prefer not to put that information on the site as anyone on the web has access to it.
