Chemo is done for the day.. dinner is finished.. and Kerrie is sleeping.

She seems a little weak today, but more “with it”. At least some of the time.  She was laying in bed, reading the paper and trying to do the crossword puzzle. It was almost funny to sit and watch her read the paper.. such a normal thing to do.. but then, as she was working on the crossword puzzle, she held up the pencil, asked me what is was and asked me what it was used for. Seems to be some confusion coming on.. but then, a few minutes later, she’d be fine again.

Not much more to tell tonight. She’s sleeping, I’ll be sleeping soon, Mom will come back and take over tomorrow and I’ll head back to Ohio. For now, I am just happy to be sitting here watching my beautiful sister sleep and loving the way she smiles at me when she wakes up, looks over and sees me sitting here.

Sometimes the simple things mean most.. glances, being there, touch. I wish the best for you all, I really do, wishing.. I could do the same.

Dear friends, Keep praying for Kerrie. The Lord is listening. He helped us through before,He’ll help again. I know He loves Kerrie as much as we all do. Keep up the good fight my friend and I’ll see you as soon. Love to all, Donna
