Kerrie spiked a fever last night, so they took her for some chest x-rays this morning. Having some difficulty and funny sounds in her lungs..but hopefully the x-rays will show nothing.

She was a little sick to her stomache last night, but the chemo doesn’t really seem to be me making her sick… yet…

She’s getting ready to get a blood transfusion and, as soon as they give her the pre-meds, I will head back to Ohio. She’ll be asleep for the next few hours and, by the time she wakes up, Mom should be here.

Dr. Jana gave us some good news today.. Kerrie’s White Blood Cell Count went from 40,000 to 2.5

This is great, because it means the chemo is doing it’s job on the cancer cells… but, it puts here at serious risk for infection for the next few weeks. As usual, we’re taking the good with the bad. Dr. Jana looked pleased.. and that’s enough to put a smile on my face.

Joan & Jen – I appreciate you keeping us up on what is going on, and the sweet way you care for Kerrie. We love Kerrie and would love to spend some time with her – but not at the risk of causing her health issues…so, please let her know she is loved and we are praying for her!!
