Obviously, Mom didn’t have time to get a post on here.. and neither did I. Sorry it’s been so long.. I think this is the longest we’ve gone, without getting something on here, and I will definately try not to let it happen again 🙂

The last few days have been hectic, but nothing really out of the ordinary. Mom and Kerrie have been doing their regular laying around and eating bon-bons, and I got in town Saturday night.. just in time for everyone, including me, to go to bed. On my way back home now. Won’t be able to come in for the next two weekends, so heading home tonight and will be back Tuesday night. Mom’s changed her work schedule and will work Wednesday and Thursday.. I’ll head home Friday and Mom will be home for most of the weekend. I think she’s had to hire someone to come in one of those days.. and then on the next two weekends while I’m away. Pain in the neck, but nothing can be done about it right now.. getting ready for the park to open and won’t be able to get on a regular schedule of coming to Michigan until after opening day.

Kerrie and I had a nice day today and even spent 40 minutes walking outside. I was hot, tired and huffing and puffing while I was pushing her chair.. but every time we got close to the house she’d say she wasn’t ready to go in yet.. so we’d keep going. She has spent so much time inside I am NOT going to deny her a beautiful day outside.. just because I am old and out of shape 🙂

I’ll get to take her to Therapy on Wednesday and then to Henry Ford on Thursday. Hopefully, we’ll have the results of the Bone Marrow Biopsy.. and she has an MRI schedule for that day. Anxious about that… hoping they say there is no sign of any infection, but prepared it will be like all the other ones and they will say there’s been no change. We’ll see.

Ron’s here now.. he’s built a new step for Kerrie to use to get in and out of the car. This one is higher than she one he built before and she’s stronger now, so we’re hoping it will work well… We want to be able to stop using the Wheelchair van service as soon as possible. We can definately think of better uses for the money.. and if Kerrie can get in and out of the car alright we might be able to go on some road trips, or to the store, if Dr. Jana ever approves her to be out in public. I’m going to ask about it when we see her on Thursday. It’s been 6 months since the transplant, so we should be getting to that point soon.

Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weather. Kerrie sure did…. and after months of being shut up in a hospital, she definately deserved a day like today!
