Kerrie went outside today! First time since the beginning of October.

I freaked out, of course, wondering about the trees.. flowers.. grass… But Mom had already talked to the BMT Team, at Henry Ford, and they approved her to go outside. So, she put on her mask.. and out they went. Just a short walk around the hospital, but I bet it was nice for her to be on the other side of that window for once!

Official word on Kerrie coming home is Friday. As always, be prepared for changes, but it doesn’t look like there will be any this time. If there are, it’s because of some health reason and we DON’T want that.

The plan is that I will come home Thursday night and Mom and I will go to get Kerrie on Friday. I can’t wait to bring her home and have to find some time to make a huge banner or something for her..

On Monday, she’ll have her first “outpatient” appointment with Dr. Jana.. so we’ll spend the whole day at Henry Ford. This could be rough, since Kerrie doesn’t have the stamina to stay out of bed for more than a few hours, but they’ve told us we’ll have an opportunity to let her lay down and rest between all the stuff they will be doing.

Kerrie, I’m so happy you were able to go outside and can’t wait to take you for a spin around the condo complex 🙂

    Alrigth Kerrie your finally getting to come home. I bet your happy and you will do good keep your chin up.
    I’m so glad that you finally got to go outside yesterday it was a beautiful day to do it and you finally felt the nice breeze that we had to.

    You will be home for St. Patrick Day the 17th your Lucky #. Wow the power of prayer. I will get my prayer warriors to pray that you will stay home and continue on the journey to recovery.

    Glad to hear you got outside to enjoy the beautiful day. It is Michigan and we have to enjoy them while we have them. I am so happy to hear that you are getting sprung Friday and can finally go home. Keep up the great work. You are woman and I can hear you roar!!!!!!
