Sunday, March 11 ( Evening)

Kerrie suffered through Mom & I getting her dressed, getting her out of bed.. and arguing about the right way to do it.

Then Kerrie and I took a stroll to the 3rd floor, went to her secret spot to get on the computer and check out her web page and then went to the 7th floor waiting room to look out the window.

Someone on the third floor asked her when she would be going home and she said, “Well. We will talk about it tomorrow.. but I want more.”  Meaning she wants for PT and doesn’t want to go home yet. We agree!

Sitting in the waiting room, she was looking whistfully out the window.. when I asked her what she was looking at she said, “Oh.. just everything.”  She really can’t wait to be allowed to go outside. I did have a good suggestion.. “Take her to the city.. there’s no trees, grass or flowers there!”  I think she wants the trees, grass and flowers!

I managed to get her back into bed with little problem this time. She wasn’t as tired as she was after PT, so she was able to do a lot of it herself. I’m sure it won’t always be that easy, but we both felt pretty good about it today.

We’re going to have a little slumber party tonight, watch movies and go to bed early. She’s worn out from our trip around the hospital. Have to get back there and get my P.J’s on.. she’s probably wondering where her roomate went!
