After waiting all day, finally got the news that Kerrie has been approved to stay in Rehab until at least next Tuesday!! They’ll re-evaluate her then and determine what her status is.. so, she’s been granted a repreive and we have a little more time.
Yes, we want her home but this is good news. The more Rehab she can get, before she comes home, the better..and it gives us more time to prepare. Hopefully, she’s not too disappointed to have to stay a little longer. I know she’s scared about coming home, but I’m sure she wants to get out of there as soon as she can.
Not much esle to tell right now… her day was filled with Rehab and watching TV. Normal day..

Hi Kerrie,
Good news to hear that they are letting you stay till next Tues. Keep up with your rehab ok. I would come and see you but Joe, Christy & I have been sick with a cold and I’m trying to make sure I do not get worse. I’m having surgery on April 5th.
Keep up with the rehab girlfriend and I hope to talk to you soon ok.
I’m really proud of you for not giving up and for fighting hard and doing what the doctor tells you to do.
I’ve sent several of our classmates e-mails on classmates and told them about you and I also gave them your website so they can keep up on how you are doing.

Kerrie, it feels to good to know that as you go up that wheelchair ramp, I can say that I stood around and watched Ron do most of the building. Can’t wait to see you at home.
