Poor Mom.. she is really stressed out right now.
Got word, this afternoon, that Kerrie could potentially be discharged on Tuesday. There is NO way the house can be ready by then. Garage and furniture moving gets done this weekend, ramp building gets done this weeked, house cleaning is scheduled for Monday, Carpets scheduled for Tuesday.. don’t have a clue when the bed, wheelchair, other medical items etc are being delivered. Mom told them there was no way and that Friday was her target date.
Kerrie is also scheduled for an appointment, with Dr. Jana, at Henry Ford on Friday…
Mom, not sure how any of this works… but just refuse to sign the discharge papers. They can’t put her out on the street can they ? 🙂
I know Kerrie is excited to come home, but she can’t be in the house until everything is ready.. and it won’t be ready by Tuesday. Please say a prayer for my mother. She’s going to really stress this weekend..
I am too sick to go home and help. Have come down with a horrible flu and am confined to bed. Hurts too much to even type this, but I am doing my best. Please ignore typos.
Mom and Ron, I am so sorry I can’t make it in to help.. but I know Mom needs me there more toward the end of next week and if I dont’ get better I will be useless to her. Hope I will be able to learn all I need to, from OT & PT in one day. This is kind of scary.
PLEASE tell Kerrie I love her and would not spend a weekend away from her if it wasn’t meant to keep her safe.
I love you Ker-bear. I’m so sorry I can’t be there.

Joan, Kerrie, Ron and all other Andree Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you right now. As strong as everyone has been though this whole thing, I know you will get through this. And ultimately, what GREAT news about Kerrie! I know it’ll probably be a bit scary, but still, it’s so great that she gets to go home!
Jenn, hang in there and stay in bed until you get better! Drink lots of fluids, eat chicken soup, used tissues with lotion, and do a lot of whining…. that always helps me a lot!

Shane, do you really want me using “used” tissues ??? 🙂 Wanted to make chicken soup, but didn’t feel up to getting out of bed to make it.. so, thought about ordering a pizza. Hey, I was hungry. Who cares if it wasn’t healthy. Decided just to stay in bed and sleep instead.
Feeling better this morning, after sleeping for 13 hours.. busy looking for some used tissues with lotion 🙂

I obviously have a problem with typing. Of course I didn’t mean used! But it sounds damned funny! Upon further though, I’ve decided that USED tissue with lotion isn’t such a good idea. Not to mention it’s revolting….
Jenn, I know you know how close to PERFECT I am,(few people do…), But I’m allowed a mistake or two once in a great while aren’t I?
(By the way, did they ever decide to put that new packer near the Fudge shop on Frontier Trail? Remember that?)
Anyway, this news about Kerrie is so exciting, but nerve wracking. I know everyone will pull together and make this work. Wish I were around to help out. You know I would!!
