Kerrie’s been approved for another full week of Physical Therapy! Looks like she made the one day she was actually able to do anything really count. Found out they had her on the parallel bars on Friday… don’t get images of her doing gymnastic flips, she was only standing there… but she was able to do it.

I just found out, yesterday, that she had been approved for another full week… and was a little surprised when Ron mentioned this. Mom’s been so busy, and talking to so many people, that she can’t remember what she’s told me and what she hasn’t. I suppose I can let her off the hook for not letting me know 🙂

Kerrie had lots of visitors yesterday, including Dad, and a couple of her friends from third floor came in with Pom poms and did a cheer for her 🙂 I missed the cheer, since I had gone down the the cafeteria to get a coffee, but it was nice to come back to the room and find Donna and Kelly there cheering her on. Kelly left her Pom poms there, so anyone who goes to visit Kerrie should feel free to do a little cheer!

She did have a little incident, where she announced to the Doctor that she had just had a baby boy, but this was shortly after she had woken up from a very sound sleep.. so we are going to try to believe that she must have been having one heck of a dream. Her nurse used to work with her, in Pediatrics, and she’s seeing a lot of her friends from Labor and Delivery.. so hopefully this is where this is coming from. Was a little concerned when she asked Dad if he could go to the third floor and check on the baby, and later she asked me when the Doctor would be in to discuss pre-natal care.. but each of these was after she had just woken up. Have to believe it’s just dreams.. I hope so anyway.  When I tried to tell her she had not had a baby, and wasn’t pregnant, she told me that the guy who had told her this seemed so honest. When I asked her who it was that told her this she said it was a doctor from Labor and Delivery. She also announced to me that she had been playing hockey, but “only for about two minutes.” Most of the day was spent in a very deep sleep, so I’m not going to panic… she must just be having some very realistic dreams.

She has a few visitors coming today… Jan and Cristel, who we’ve known for 20 years ( friends of mine from Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp & College) and Tad.. who I’ve known since Junior High School ( and Blue Lake..and College). We haven’t seen them in several years and when I told Kerrie they were coming she said, “Oh my God. They are coming to see ME?”  She had such a huge smile on her face I wish they could have seen it.

I’m on my way to another hospital, to visit our Grandmother, and then back to Kerrie…  Have to go back to Ohio tonight, but planning on leaving late. I will try to put another post on, as soon as I get home tonight. Hopefully, there will be good things to tell
