Kerrie moved back to NOMC today! Keep your fingers crossed.. today was DAY 1 of being evaluated for her ability to do PT and it was not a great day. She was tired, and they had given her additional pain killers ( and ativan), because of high blood pressure, so she was kind of knocked out today.

Occupational Therapy met with her today, as did Speech Therapy.. I asked Mom if today counted as part of the three days she has and, of course, today is Day 1. Tomorrow will be a better test.. after she’s relaxed in her new surroundings, isn’t on Ativan and has her normal level of pain killers.

She’s back in the same room she was in before, but that wonderful pull-out sofa style bed is gone.. Mom has a chair to sleep in tonight. Hopefully, she will be able to locate a better chair by tomorrow night.. and hopefully both she and Kerrie get some rest tonight.

Kerrie.. you have to give it your all tomorrow!
