Monday, February 5th

If all goes well, the ambulance will be picking Kerrie up at 9:00am to take her to NOMC. That’s the plan anyway.
Mom was packing up Kerrie’s room, and didn’t like the way she was breathing or sounding, so she insisted on chest x-rays. Haven’t gotten the results yet, but as long as there is no problems.. like pnemonia, Kerrie will be leaving Henry Ford in the morning.
On one hand, this is really good news… on the other hand, Kerrie has 3 days to prove she is strong enough and can handle the Intensive Physical Therapy.

If she isn’t able to do it, or plays her little game of saying “no”, then she could be transferred to a step-down unit for Physical Therapy. She needs the intense Therapy, so we have to hope and pray she proves herself.
The step-down unit is somewhere in Rochester, so it’s close to Mom.. but she needs more than that.
Kerrie, you have to fight.. you have to prove you can do it and you have to keep you mouth shut and put up with whatever they tell you to do.

Whether you want to or not, you know you can do it..

Mom said she would call, tonight, after the results of the X-rays, but I haven’t heard from her.
I’m sure she’ll call in the morning, once Kerrie is making the move to NOMC.
Keep your prayers going that she gives it a good fight for the next three days ( and beyond)
