Hi Everyone,
Well, I thought I was done with these posts and Jenn was back on line, but wouldn’t you know it, she flaked out on me. Just because her plane(s) were late and she didn’t get in until 2 am and her luggage is still flying around Europe somewhere and Kerrie woke her up every hour on the hour after she finally got to bed, she didn’t make it to the site to post. Something tells me she is sound a sleep at good ole HFH and Kerrie is probably saying “Jenn, Jenn, I hate to tell you this but I need……†and Jenn is snoring. But, thanks to her great nursing staff, Ker is taken care of and Jenn……….you rest babe, cause the next few days will be busy ( you should have seen her, she was really in the ozone).
 Â
Had a great birthday party in Ker’s room. We had decorations, and hats and cakes and presents. Brother Ron was there and his Robyn made another great picture to put on the wall for Aunt Kerrie. The hospital sent Ker a cake, and the staff came in to sing happy birthday to her. I got a present too, her blood counts are looking better! Liver enzymes are going down, and white count is going up. Hemaglobin is ok and platelets still in an acceptable range. For you non-medical folk, this is good. Ker is still very uncomfortable from the procedure yesterday. She is back on a pain pump, hopefully this will take away the peaks and valleys of pain control and give her a steady comfort level. I’m not saying pain free because she never is, but a bearable level is the goal.
 Â
Waiting to see what the next few days bring. Blood tests and Kerrie’s response will be a key factor. She seemed better to me tonight although she says she still feels “shittyâ€. She sounds very weak, but her speech was fairly clear and to me that is an indication that she is with the program. So keep them thoughts and prayers coming folks….cause they are doing the trick and we need them.
 Â
Will turn this over to Jenn (I think) when she wakes up…..Thanks for all the cards, posts, and emails. Kerrie loves them all (and so do we).
 Â
Love Ya
Joan

Hi Kerrie
Glad to hear your sis is back next to you. I check your site everyday and had a tax matter to handle at work and missed posting for your B-day. I did drink two beers in your honor last night-tall boys to be exact, and we toasted you. Keep up the fight girl!!!
Take Care

Kerrie,
Sorry I did not send you an email on your BIG day. BUT,
I DID REMEMBER YOU at Mass. I was kept pretty busy doing
“this and that” for various Sisters here at St. Catherine’s.
But glad to hear that your levels are coming down!
You are remembered daily at our Mass and many thoughts go way
during the day. God love you.. keep up your fighting spirit!
Love,
Aunt Louise
