Nice… I walk up to the door of Kerrie’s room and the whole door has been decorated with a sign that say’s, “Lordy, Lordy, poor Jenny is 40″…. made me laugh, but I thought ” does she have to post my age for the whole fricking hospital to see?”.
Then I walked in the room and there were balloons and black crepe paper everywhere. I guess Mom and Kerrie had a good time decorating the room 🙂
Kerrie was in the middle of PT, but as soon as she was done she looked at me and said,”oh, I have to put this on” and stuck two big, red bows on her head :)Â GREAT BIRTHDAY PRESENT FOR ME!Â
An even better present was watching how well she is doing with her physical therapy. I have to say I was really impressed at how hard she was trying and how well she was doing. She had already had several hours of PT though and was finding it difficult to stay awake. Kept falling asleep in the middle of it. Really wears her out 🙂
Mom, Kerrie, Ron, Alisa, Robyn & TJ threw me a great party in Kerrie’s room.. and Kerrie even ate some of my birthday cake!! She said it tasted really, really good.. I bet it does, after living off pureed food, apple sauce, pudding and yogurt!
My brother, and his family, really went all out to make sure I had a good day.. it wasn’t the trip to Vegas we originally had scheduled, but it was pretty cool! Thanks Ron.. ( and Alisa, Robyn & TJ)… and thanks to Mom and Kerrie for all the decorations..
Especially  for Kerrie in the big, red bows!
The rest of the night was relatively quiet. Kerrie and I watched TV and were both asleep by 11:00pm. We need to save our energy for New Years Eve.. Big party planned! We are all ready for 2006 to get the heck out of here!
