Happy Birthday Kerrie…

I woke this morning to the Happy Birthday song ringing in my head… before I even was awake enough to remember the date.

You are on our minds today, as you are every day… but today is harder than most.

Mom couldn’t make it to the cemetery, because of the bad weather and all the snow, but I told her you were probably out skiing somewhere anyway.

Ker-Bear, we may not come here everyday anymore… and sometimes it seems like it’s just Mom and me here… but you are thought of every day, you are loved every day, you are missed every day. No matter how much time passes that will never change.

Whatever you are doing right now, wherever you are… know that we love you.. and as Ron said in the text he sent me this morning, “Happy Birthday with God Kerrie.”
