Tuesday, October 3rd

Well, it sounds like Kerrie may have had a good day without any trips to the hospital :) … at least not to Henry Ford.

She was at NOMC today, doing some paperwork in HR, but the power went out while she was there.. so she wasn’t able to make it to any other floors. Pesky elevators were out and it would have been a little difficult for her to walk the stairs.  I questioned whether she should have gone to the floors anyway but, knowing her, she would have put on a space suit if it meant she could go and surprise her friends.

Today and Friday seem to be the only day she won’t have to go to Henry Ford for some test, or another, since they have just added an MRI on Saturday afternoon. On well, they said she could go home.. they never said she wouldn’t have to come back every day.

For those of you who have ordered T-Shirts during the last week, I apologize for the delay in sending them out to you. I was in Michigan until last night, and am now going on hour 13 at work.. trying to get caught up, so that I can turn around and drive back to Michigan in the morning. I had hoped to go back tonight, but since it’s now after 9:00pm.. and I still need to pack.. it doesn’t look like I will make it home tonight.

I hope to mail your T-Shirts within the next few days, but if things get hectic in Michigan, I will mail them when I return to Ohio on Monday. Thanks for your patience.

To the Staff of NOMC who wanted T-Shirts but weren’t able to buy them at the Bake Sale… you can get them from Joan Andree. She has a supply and will be happy to bring them to work. Just let her know what size you would like.

Deb, Sandra and everyone else who asked about buttons and magnets… NO.. they weren’t sitting on my doorstep when I got back to Ohio, but I am hoping they are there now. As soon as I have them I will give them to our Mom to have her bring them in to the hospital. Deb, you said you could sell 20 buttons.. I’m holding you to it 🙂

Time for me to get home and start packing. I want to leave early enough to meet Kerrie at Henry Ford before she goes in to have her Port installed.

Kerrie, sleep well tonight.. and don’t worry.. I will be at the end of the bed, tap dancing for you 🙂

Love you Ker,

Jenn
