She doesn’t even know “Where in the world she is!”

Where in the world is Jenn Andree? Who the heck knows. Most of the time.. she doens’t Matt Lauer can have his fun little trips.. been there.. done that.. a few too many times I think.

Yes.. I should be thrilled that I get to do these things.. and I am.. but week, after week, after week..? OK. I will quit my complaining. I do have a pretty sweet job 🙂

But, it’s almost 11:30 pm and I am just now finishing packing. I have to be up atg 3:00 am to get to the airport by 5:00am… so not much sleep for me I am afraid. Mom.. I took the Thera-flu and will try to sleep on the beach. Oops I mean plane.. but maybe I really do mean beach. I have a 7 hour lay over, in Miami, so I might as well take advantage of it. On the way back, my layover is from 1:30pm on Sunday to 5:00pm on Monday.. So I am definately going to take advantge of the hotel pool and the beach.

Yes, I am sure you are all wondering why I complain.. Me too :)  But I’m tired!

15 flights in the last 3 weeks.. driving across a few different countries.. getting out of Belgrade just before someone throws a bomb at the embassy and they start evacuating Americans.. and now.. let’s see. Colombia crossed the border of Ecuador the other day,  killed some important guy there.. now Ecuador and Venezuala have taken their troops to the border of Colombia. Where am I going in a few hours? Oh yeah.. Ecuador. Good thing I decided to cancel the Colombia part of my trip.

Umm.. Mom.. they have these fun, little excursions we can do on our “sight seeing day.” I had a choice between getting a massage and shopping in the capitol.. OR.. taking a bus about an hour out into the “jungles” to some little settlement there. Any guess which one I chose?  Hmm.. a massage and shopping? I can do that here 🙂

I will have to be on the lookout for sunflowers. I was sitting in the hotel lobby, in Romania, and really missing Kerrie. I whispered that I really wished she was there with me.. and then I looked up. Right in front of me was this huge oil painting of a bunch of sunflowers. Didn’t see any sunflowers in Turkey ( That I remember.. not sure how much of that entire country I remember :)..When I got to Moldova, again was missing Kerrie and the Sunflowers were everywhere. It’s like their national flower or something. Every painting, every cup, every dish.. sunflowers.

I am sure I will see some out in the Jungles of Ecuador too!
