Kerrie’s journey is finally over! We laid her to rest today and I would like to thank everyone for making this such a beautiful day for Kerrie.

For those who couldn’t join us… we will share our day with you…. but tonight we are tired. Perhaps Mom will post something later…

As for me, I’m going to lay down.. and hopefully dream about my beautiful Kerrie…

I just couldn’t stay away…just got home from Michigan and had to get back to the KAST site. Jenn, it was so good to see you smile today. Joan-it was so nice to finally meet you. And to everyone else…sorry you had to hear about the Listerine incident. Hope I didn’t offend anyone 😉 I hope you get some rest and have pleasant dreams. Love you all!

    Jenn and Family,
We both wish we could have been there today, but it just wasn’t possible. It is nice to know that Kerrie is at peace now. You have continued to be in our thoughts and prayers. Thanks again to Jenn and Joan for keeping us updated through this last year, you had so much to deal with and still managed to keep everyone updated on Kerrie’s daily events.
    With lots of love,
    Shane and Aaron

I wish I could have been there as well, but I just couldn’t get up to Michigan. I feel that after the burial, you feel a sense of peace, knowing she finally at rest. Your updates throughout the year have been an everyday visit for me. In fact, I went to my school for registration, and several of my co-workers knew Kerrie had passed because they had been following the website over the summer. (I work in a school). When you get a chance, I would love if you could share a little of the day with us who couldn’t be there. Jenn, Joan, Steve, and Ron-I love you all like my 2nd family you always were. To all my KAST friends, I am so glad we came together to support our Kerrie. I love you all…

Michelle, don’t worry about the listerine incident. You gotta do what you gotta do sometimes!!! Rest well Andree family. You all deserve it.

I received a call from Dr. Kristen Allen (South Bend, IN)wanting to express her sorrow at hearing that Kerrie had passed away. She wanted you to know how much she liked to work with Kerrie and knows that she will be greatly missed.

    Aunt Joan and Jenn,

I wish I could have been there with you. And while I know we are all sad because we lost one of the best, Kerrie is with Jesus and she can walk and sing and run. There’s no more pain. Man, am I gonna miss her!

    With Love,
