Kerrie’s alwasy been a saver when it comes to stuff like Halloween candy & Easter Candy…Not me. I’d gobble mine up right away and then, for the next few weeks, I would sneak into where she kept her “secret stash” and take a few pieces at a time. She could save her halloween candy for weeks.. as long as I didn’t find out where it was. She still hasn’t forgiven me for the year I ate almost all her candy.

When I got in to Mom’s last night, I saw the dish of  chocolates and jellybeans on the desk.. and thought “I shouldn’t take one. Kerrie’s probably saving them.”  But.. I took a couple of jellybeans, and a piece of chocolate, anyway. Like she’s really going to notice.

We got up this morning, had our ritual of coffee and boost, and then got ready to do “stuff” today. Got her out of bed, and was wheeling her into the kitchen when she looked at the bowl of candy.. looked at me… and said, “SOMEONE has been eating my stuff.” I was busted. She just stared at me.. and then started laughing when I swore to replace it.

We had lunch… half a hot dog, 3 ounces of cottage cheese, 3 mandarin orange slices and a potato chip. She was so funny about the chips.. I could see her eyeing the bag, on top of the fridge, and asked her if she wanted one. “Nooo….”  “OK, well you were looking at them I thought you might want one and I was going to get it for you.”  “I can have one???? Well, I want one then.”  So, she ate one. She took that first bite and just closed her eyes with this look of absolute Heaven on her face, “Kerrie, what are you doing?”  “I’m savoring it”

After lunch was laundry and Kerrie actually impressed me with folding the clothes. Then she started asking for Jellybeans. She’s eaten 1 and hour all afternoon. I finally asked her if she was trying to eat them before I got to them..

 “YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Kerrie, I’ll buy you all the jellybeans in the world. If you can chew them.. they’re yours!
