I’m not sure why I’m having so much trouble getting posts on here, but I’m able to get in to the admin section now..so maybe whatever the problem was is gone.

Spoke with Mom for all of two minutes yesterday. She called from Henry Ford, but was with a doctor at the moment and couldn’t really talk. She just needed to check some availability dates with me, so they could schedule Kerrie’s surgery. It looks like she will have her Gall Bladder removed the first week of May. Not sure why they are waiting so long, if she’s physically able to go through the surgery now, but Mom said it wasn’t an emergency.. so they are scheduling it for one of the weeks I’m not able to come home. Mom wants it done one of those weeks, so she can be home with Kerrie. She’ll have to be home anyway, and doesn’t want to have to take any additional time off work. No point in both of us bieng there I guess. Makes sense to me, but I still think they should just get it over and done with.

I asked if they were doing the bone marrow biopsy, while she was there, and Mom said it would probably be next week. Then she said she’d call me later… didn’t call, and I didn’t have a chance to call her back until it was too late and she was already at work.

I thought about calling her right now, but then decided to be a good daughter and let her sleep for a while. She usually gets home from work around 6:00am.. and then has to take care of Kerrie’s meds, etc. If she’s lucky, she’ll get a few hours of sleep before she has to get up for the rest of the day.

I’ll call her this afternoon and see what’s new!
